David E. Saunders, II

David is a Principal and Senior Consultant located in the Hunt Valley headquarters.  David guides the long-term investment strategy for the firm’s clients.  He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.   

David has over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry.  Prior to joining Asset Strategy Consultants, he was a Senior Investment Consultant at PSA Insurance and Financial Services responsible for providing oversight of fund monitoring and due diligence.  Prior to this, David served as an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Credo Capital Management. In addition, he has held equity analyst positions at Wells Fargo and Legg Mason.    

David graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University.  He is a member of the CFA Society Baltimore, a board member of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Inter Parish Loan Fund, and an investment board member of Sheppard Pratt Health System.
